What is Self-Regeneration?
Usually, shortened links are associated with creating shorter URLs that can be shared across multiple channels, or as a way to mask the final destination. If the content expires, rotates, or becomes irregular and is removed, the shortened link loses its destination and becomes useless, forcing the publisher to create a new one and update all the places where it was shared. Self-regeneration allows you to create a shortened link, but instead of a single destination, you can provide up to 100. The Relo.ad system checks all active destination URLs, and when it finds a broken or inactive one, it automatically activates the next available destination. This way, you only need to publish short links while keeping redirection links always active in the Relo.ad management platform.
How to keep your shortened links active forever?
In your dashboard, you can add up to 100 different destinations or URLs redirecting to the same content published multiple times. This way, without changing the link you shared on forums, you can keep redirections active forever.
